For over a decade, KSI Trust has been creating meaningful educational opportunities for children and youth across Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. By combining educational innovation with grassroots implementation, KSICT continues to bridge opportunity gaps and empower learners to become self-reliant and future-ready citizens.

Trust Established
K. Srinivasa Iyer Charitable Trust registered and founded, in memory of Mrs. Kamakshi Subramanian's vision of equitable education.
- 2015
Anubhuti Begins
The flagship fellowship programme at Lady Sivaswamy Iyer Girls Higher Secondary School, Mylapore, Chennai, takes root — supporting girls from underprivileged families through school.
- 2019
STEM Partnership with KriVid YA
Experiential STEM education introduced at LSGHSS in collaboration with KriVid YA — a partnership that continues to this day, deepening scientific thinking and curiosity.
- 2020–21
Digital Access During COVID-19
21 laptops provided to students of Classes XI and XII at LSGHSS to ensure uninterrupted online learning during the pandemic. The devices continue to circulate among students.
- 2021
Urjaa Launched
A rural fellowship programme launched at Government Higher Secondary School, Radhanarasimmapuram, Thiruvarur, providing nutrition, transport, and structured learning to 30 students annually.
- 2022
Jivika Launched
An industry-integrated employability programme launched at SJ Government Polytechnic, Bengaluru, equipping diploma engineers with HVAC&R skills and facilitating placements with leading employers.

KSICT now directly supports 900+ students across three programmes, with 500+ girl children empowered, 60+ youth skilled, and a 35-book library established in Radhanarasimmapuram.

- 100-page Environmental Report authored by programme girls
- 15 students in 2021, grown to 20+ students
- Daily breakfast ensures children come to class nourished
- Transport support reduces drop-outs from neighbouring villages
- 35-book community library established
- 3 women from the community employed as educators
- Science scores above school average for 3 consecutive years
- ~10 NMMS Fellowships earned
- 7 children hold FLP Fellowships
- Launched 2022 — two batches completed
- Nearly 60 students trained
- 5th & 6th Semester Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (HPT)
- Industry-designed HVAC&R curriculum, AICTE-aligned certification
